Have an older Ameriprise auto policy? That business is now CONNECT, powered by American Family Insurance. Elite Auto Body and Collision Center is an independent Campbell body shop that works with these customers and their adjusters.
Elite Auto Body and Collision Center is an independent repair shop. We are not an Ameriprise Auto & Home preferred or direct-repair (DRP) shop; we work with its policyholders and adjusters, and you have the right to choose us.
How to file a claim on a former Ameriprise auto policy
Ameriprise sold its auto and home insurance business to American Family Insurance in 2019 (Ameriprise), and it was renamed CONNECT, powered by American Family Insurance, in 2020 (Business Wire). Use the claims number on your current CONNECT policy documents or ID card. Then tell your adjuster you’d like your vehicle repaired at Elite Auto Body and Collision Center and send us your claim number.
From Ameriprise to CONNECT
The name on your policy may have changed, but your right to pick a repair shop has not.
Your choice of shop
In California an insurer may not require you to use a particular shop (Cal. Insurance Code §758.5), and once you name your shop it may not suggest that you switch (10 CCR §2695.8(e)). That applies whether you are a Ameriprise Auto policyholder or a driver filing against a Ameriprise Auto policy.
How we repair
We follow the vehicle maker’s repair procedures, document hidden damage found at teardown and submit supplements to the adjuster. Elite is GM-certified and a member of the GM Collision Repair Network. Our repairs carry a limited lifetime warranty on our workmanship for as long as you own the vehicle (non-transferable).
Serving the South Bay from Campbell
We’re at 1386 White Oaks Rd., Campbell, CA 95008, less than a mile from San Jose and Los Gatos and a few miles from Saratoga, Cupertino, and nearby. Learn more about insurance repairs at Elite, our services, or our shop.
