You choose your body shop on a Travelers claim
In California the vehicle owner picks the repair shop. An insurer can’t require you to use a particular shop (Cal. Insurance Code §758.5). We’re an independent shop. We aren’t in any Travelers repair program, and you don’t need us to be. We write the estimate, work the supplements with your adjuster, and push for what the car actually needs.
How to file a claim with Travelers
Travelers lists 1-800-252-4633 (1-800-CLAIM33) for personal auto, home and property claims, 24/7, and you can also file online (Travelers Claim Center). Business insurance claims go through Travelers’ business claim options on the same site. Then tell your adjuster you’d like the vehicle repaired at Elite Collision Center and send us your claim number.
Personal vs commercial Travelers claims
We see Travelers on personal cars and light trucks after a crash, and on commercial auto for mid-size and larger fleets, construction and distribution.
Large Travelers fleet accounts often route repairs through a fleet management company. When the policyholder or fleet manager can choose the shop, we can take the job. We aren’t enrolled with any fleet management company and aren’t in any Travelers repair program.

Towing, pickup and rental

If the estimate is short
Insurer estimates are often written before anyone takes the bumper off. When we find more, we document it with photos and send a supplement. If we disagree with a change, we say so and show why.
Fleet and commercial vehicles
We repair fleet cars, Sprinter and work vans, box trucks and limos. We don’t repair buses. Typical turnaround is 3–7 days, depending on parts and damage, and we bill the company or the insurer directly. See fleet and commercial repair.

Am I required to use a Travelers network shop?
No. In California you choose where your vehicle is repaired. Travelers may suggest a shop; you can still bring it to Elite Collision.
