You choose your body shop on a Zurich claim
In California the vehicle owner picks the repair shop. An insurer can’t require you to use a particular shop (Cal. Insurance Code §758.5). We’re an independent shop. We aren’t in any Zurich repair program, and you don’t need us to be. We write the estimate, work the supplements with your adjuster, and push for what the car actually needs.
How to file a claim with Zurich
Report the claim through Zurich’s claims tools (Zurich North America claims) or with the claim contact on your policy documents. Then tell your adjuster you’d like the vehicle repaired at Elite Collision Center and send us your claim number.
Zurich commercial and fleet claims
Zurich often covers large corporate fleets, dealers and utilities. Repairs frequently go through the fleet company. When the fleet manager or local contact can choose the shop, we can take the job.
We aren’t enrolled with Element, Holman or any other fleet management company, and we aren’t in any Zurich repair program. Give us the claim number and we work with whoever is adjusting it.

Towing, pickup and rental
We offer 24-hour towing and free pickup and delivery. Call (408) 377-0505. If you need a rental, we’ll help you set it up.
If the estimate is short
Insurer estimates are often written before anyone takes the bumper off. When we find more, we document it with photos and send a supplement. If we disagree with a change, we say so and show why.
Fleet and commercial vehicles
We repair fleet cars, Sprinter and work vans, box trucks and limos. We don’t repair buses. Typical turnaround is 3–7 days, depending on parts and damage, and we bill the company or the insurer directly. See fleet and commercial repair.

Do you work with Zurich insurance?

Am I required to use a Zurich network shop?
No. In California you choose where your vehicle is repaired. Zurich may suggest a shop; you can still bring it to Elite Collision.
