If you have, or had, a MetLife auto policy, here is what has changed and how to get your car repaired. Elite Auto Body and Collision Center is an independent Campbell body shop that works with these customers and their adjusters.
Elite Auto Body and Collision Center is an independent repair shop. We are not a MetLife Auto preferred or direct-repair (DRP) shop; we work with its policyholders and adjusters, and you have the right to choose us.
How to file a claim on a former MetLife auto policy
Farmers Group completed its acquisition of MetLife Auto & Home in April 2021 (Farmers newsroom), and those policies are now part of Farmers GroupSelect. Farmers lists 1-800-854-6011 for GroupSelect claims; check your current policy documents for the exact number. Then tell your adjuster you’d like your vehicle repaired at Elite Auto Body and Collision Center and send us your claim number.
Former MetLife Auto & Home policies
Because MetLife’s auto and home business is now part of Farmers, your claim may be handled by Farmers GroupSelect. Your right to choose a repair shop does not change.
Independent, by design
Elite is not in any insurer’s direct-repair program, so our job is to repair your car correctly, not to hit an insurer’s targets. In California an insurer may not require you to use a particular shop (Cal. Insurance Code §758.5), and once you name your shop it may not suggest that you switch (10 CCR §2695.8(e)).
Certified and guaranteed
Elite is GM-certified and a member of the GM Collision Repair Network. Our repairs carry a limited lifetime warranty on our workmanship for as long as you own the vehicle (non-transferable).
Serving the South Bay from Campbell
We’re at 1386 White Oaks Rd., Campbell, CA 95008, less than a mile from San Jose and Los Gatos and a few miles from Saratoga, Cupertino, and nearby. Learn more about insurance repairs at Elite, our services, or our shop.
