Elite Auto Body and Collision Center is an independent repair shop. We are not a Safeco preferred or direct-repair (DRP) shop; we work with its policyholders and adjusters, and you have the right to choose us.

How to file a claim with Safeco

Safeco, a Liberty Mutual company, lists 1-800-332-3226 for claims, and claims can also be filed online (Safeco claims). Then tell your adjuster you’d like your vehicle repaired at Elite Auto Body and Collision Center and send us your claim number.

Safeco and Liberty Mutual

Safeco is part of Liberty Mutual, so you may hear about Liberty Mutual’s repair programs. Elite is not in them; we are independent and work for you.

What to expect at Elite

1. Send us photos or stop by with your Safeco claim number.
2. We coordinate the inspection with your adjuster and write a factory-procedure estimate.
3. Hidden damage found during repair is documented and sent to Safeco as a supplement.
4. We finish the repair and keep you updated.

California law is on your side

In California an insurer may not require you to use a particular shop (Cal. Insurance Code §758.5), and once you name your shop it may not suggest that you switch (10 CCR §2695.8(e)).

Credentials

Elite is GM-certified and a member of the GM Collision Repair Network. Our repairs carry a limited lifetime warranty on our workmanship for as long as you own the vehicle (non-transferable).
